Hazelwood School District Launches HSD Podcast to Spotlight Voices Across the District

The Hazelwood School District is excited to announce the launch of the HSD Podcast, a new communications platform designed to amplify the voices, stories, and successes from across the district. Hosted by Darrin Lilly, director of communications and public relations, and Olivia Kennah, assistant director of communications and public relations, the podcast will bring listeners inside the classrooms, hallways, and events that make Hazelwood unique. The podcast will be available on the district website at www.hazelwoodschools.org.

The first episode of the HSD Podcast will be released on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and will feature a discussion of HSD’s latest thematic school, Twillman Montessori Elementary School. Listeners will get a glimpse into the Montessori model and learn what makes Twillman such a vibrant part of the Hazelwood community.

New episodes will be available every other Tuesday, featuring a range of topics, from school spotlights and student achievements to district initiatives and community partnerships.

“This podcast is a way for us to connect more deeply with our community,” said Darrin Lilly. “We have so many amazing stories happening every day in our schools, and the HSD Podcast gives us a chance to celebrate those voices and share them with the entire Hazelwood family.”
