Dr. Nettie Collins-Hart Receives Elmer Belsha Leadership Award

Hazelwood School District Superintendent Dr. Nettie Collins-Hart was honored with the Elmer Belsha Leadership Award at North County Incorporated’s (NCI) 49th Annual Leadership Breakfast. The event took place on May 8, 2026, at the Marriott St. Louis Airport Hotel and welcomed business, civic, and community leaders from across the region.
The Elmer Belsha Leadership Award recognizes individuals who have made a meaningful and lasting impact on both North County Incorporated and the broader North St. Louis County community. Dr. Collins-Hart’s leadership in education and her ongoing commitment to student success and community engagement have made her a respected and influential figure throughout the region.
North County Incorporated President and CEO Rebecca Zoll emphasized the importance of recognizing local leaders, stating, “Celebrating the people who are positively impacting the residential and business climate in North St. Louis County is always an honor. We were excited to recognize the many dedicated people, businesses, and organizations working to improve our community, better the lives of others, and advance the local economy.”
Dr. Collins-Hart shared her gratitude for the recognition, saying, “It is truly an honor to receive the Elmer Belsha Leadership Award.
