Central High is Named as Green Schools Quest Winner

Great news for Hazelwood Central High School!

The Central High Greenhouse project, in partnership with Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park, has been named a winner in this year’s Green Schools Quest, celebrating the hard work and creativity of students, staff, and dedicated mentors. Their commitment to sustainability and hands-on learning truly paid off!

The school will receive a monetary award and a trophy to mark this achievement. Over 80 schools across Missouri and Southern Illinois competed in this year’s Quest, and we were named the winner of the High School Rookie category.
