Welcome to Hazelwood School District. Whether you are a current family, new to our district, a graduate, a community member, or simply visiting our website to learn more about us, we are glad you are here.

Hazelwood has a rich history and has been shaped by generations of students, educators, families, and community members. Our graduates have gone on to make an impact in education, public service, business, athletics, and communities across the country. Among them are Missouri State Senator Brian Williams, Hazelwood Central Class of 2001, and Super Bowl champion Carey Davis, Hazelwood Central Class of 1999. Our alumni also include accomplished professionals such as Major League Baseball players Devin Williams and David Phelps and former Missouri State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, all graduates of Hazelwood West.

Today, Hazelwood serves a large and diverse community across approximately 78 square miles. Our schools and programs provide students with opportunities beginning in early childhood and continuing through graduation, including gifted education, specialized programming, athletics, activities, and opportunities designed to prepare students for college, career, military service, and life beyond Hazelwood.

As we look toward our future, our Strategic Plan continues to guide our work and the decisions we make on behalf of students. We are committed to continuous improvement, strengthening student achievement, supporting our staff, and ensuring that every student has access to opportunities that allow them to thrive. That work is supported by responsible stewardship, including an A+ Standard & Poor’s credit rating, and an ongoing focus on improving academic outcomes.

For the families who entrust their children to us each day, thank you. We recognize both the privilege and responsibility that comes with that trust. For our residents, alumni, businesses, community partners, and others who support Hazelwood, thank you for continuing to invest in the success of our students and schools.
