What We Do

The Office of Elementary Instruction, Federal Programs, and English Learner Services provides leadership, support, and oversight to ensure every student receives an exceptional educational experience. We partner with school leaders and teachers to strengthen instruction, implement high-quality curriculum, and use data to improve student outcomes across our elementary schools. We also oversee Federal Programs to ensure resources are strategically invested where they are needed most, expanding opportunities and removing barriers to student success. Through our English Learner Services, we support multilingual students and their families by promoting language development, academic achievement, and meaningful inclusion. Together, our work is centered on building equitable systems, empowering educators, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive in a culture of high expectations.
