Our mission is to support our middle schools, provide meaningful learning opportunities for staff, and help families navigate the student enrollment process.  We work closely with school leaders, teachers, and families to create positive learning environments where every Hazelwood School District student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

What We Do

Enrollment:

We are committed to making the enrollment process welcoming, accurate, and efficient for families. 

• Assist families with new student registration for preschool through grade 12.
• Verify residency and required enrollment documents, such as proof of address, birth certificates, immunization records, and guardianship paperwork.
• Maintains accurate student enrollment records in the district's student information system.
• Answers questions about attendance boundaries, enrollment requirements, and registration timelines.
• Works with schools and other district departments to ensure students are enrolled promptly and assigned to the correct school.
• Provides customer service and guidance to families throughout the enrollment process.

Professional Development: 

We are committed to supporting Hazelwood School District staff by providing meaningful learning opportunities that strengthen their knowledge, enhance their skills, and empower them to better serve every student.

• Planning and coordinating professional learning for teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Organizing district-wide training days, workshops, conferences, and online learning opportunities.
• Supporting new teacher induction and mentoring programs.
• Providing training on curriculum, instructional strategies, technology, classroom management, and state or district initiatives.
• Working with school leaders to identify staff learning needs and develop professional learning plans.
• Coordinating required training, such as compliance, safety, and certification-related professional development.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of professional learning and using feedback to improve future offerings.
• Supporting instructional coaches, teacher leaders, and administrators in building leadership capacity.
• Ensuring professional development aligns with district goals and student achievement priorities.
