Philosophy of Education
I believe many parts of a puzzle create a highly effective teacher. But to me, building relationships is the most important part of our profession. When that foundation is there, students will genuinely want to try their hardest and give their best work. Growing a trusting relationship happens over the course of the year, which allows students to know we are solely there for them.
I was a Pattonville graduate and grew up in St. Ann my entire childhood. I graduated from Lindenwood University with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education, and have taught at Brown for 3 years. I have taught 3rd grade, and this will be my second year in 2nd grade. Creating a class family and community is my favorite part.
