Philosophy of Education

It is my personal philosophy that each student is a unique and individualized learner. All children are capable of learning and succeeding when given the appropriate tools and supports to do so. It is my job to give children a voice to make them successful communicators both in school and in the community.

Personal Statement

This is my 6th year as a Speech Pathologist here at Brown Elementary. I received my education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and currently live in Troy, IL. I am married to Luke Gansner and we have a 10 month old son, Gavin. We love to spend time with family and go on walks.
