Gifted Services
-
The Hazelwood School District offers gifted services at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. The gifted program was established to meet the needs of those students who are highly capable academically and need a more rigorous intellectual challenge. Students in the gifted program are expected to assume responsibility for their own learning and to actively participate in the development of their individual talents and abilities. All students involved in the program meet the criteria set forth by the Hazelwood School District and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
For more information visit our Gifted Education home page, or contact Ms. Melanie Bloom, Coordinator of Gifted Education.
