I started my teaching career at Hazelwood West Middle/High School in 2001. I am a National Board Certified teacher in early adolescence English/Language Arts.  

 

Over the last 22 years, I have taught 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts (ELA) as well as reading. This year I am excited to work with 6th grade students as they grow as readers and writers in ELA.  I love to watch students discover new books, share ideas, and find their voices as writers. 

 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, reading, and traveling.
