Welcome to the Hazelwood Central Middle School Library Page!

Students may visit the library before school, with their communication skills class, or anytime their class schedule allows.  Library books may be checked out for a two week period.  At that time the books should be returned.

Announcements

Book Battle Club meets each Thursday. Students read from a set list of books in order to compete with peers and in May they will compete against other middle schools in the St. Louis Region. A complete list is available from the library.

Mark Twain Award books are geared toward grades 4-6. These books are very popular, and can be counted on to be well written.

Truman Award books are geared toward grades 6-8. These books are also well written and are in high demand.  

All of the award winning books can be found in the CMS Library.
