Hazelwood Central High School band performing at Dunkin’ Donuts grand opening

To mark the grand opening of Dunkin’ Donuts in Florissant, the Golden Hawks Marching Band of Hazelwood Central High School will perform at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9. The Dunkin’ Donuts store is located at 8471A North Lindbergh.

The grand opening is also a benefit for TEAM, The Emergency Assistance Ministry, which provides food pantry services to families in Florissant and Hazelwood. Customers are encouraged to bring canned good donations to the store, and in exchange, they will receive coupons for free coffee. Customers who donate at least $2 in cash to TEAM will receive a $2 gift card to Dunkin’ Donuts.

At 8:00 a.m., Fredbird of the St. Louis Cardinals will join the Golden Hawks to help collect canned goods.

As a thank you to Hazelwood Central, Dunkin’ Donuts will donate $500 to the band’s booster organization.

The event includes special guests Florissant Mayor Thomas Schneider and D’Marco Farr, a former St. Louis Ram football player and a current commentator on Fox Sports Network.
