On Tuesday, January 10, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Hazelwood Southeast Middle School staff members will offer an eighth grade math help night for parents to preview the next algebra unit, “Frogs, Fleas, and Painted Cubes.” It will cover quadratic equations for pre-algebra and Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test prep skills.
This is a chance for parents to see what their children will do in math during the next month and to ask questions about the math curriculum. The meeting will take place on the third floor in two of the math teachers’ classrooms.
RSVPs are not needed, but are appreciated – call (314) 953-7700. Please remember, this night is for parents only. Students will earn a dress-down day opportunity for their parents’ attendance.
