Musicals, comedies and dramas will take to the stage at each high school in the Hazelwood School District in April.
“Grease,” the teen-themed musical set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School, will run at Hazelwood Central High School from April 19 through April 21. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the play begins at 7:00 p.m. each night. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” will entertain audiences at Hazelwood West High School. It’s the Greek story of freedom, love and family relationships. The play runs from April 18 through April 21 and begins at 7:00 p.m. each night. Tickets are $10; $9 with an activity pass.
Hazelwood East High School welcomes guests to “A Raisin in the Sun,” the groundbreaking play by Lorraine Hansberry about a family whose hope and dreams are constantly deferred. The play runs April 26 through April 28 at 7:00 p.m. each night. Tickets are $6 at the door; $5 in advance.
