Members of the Robertson Fire Protection District will pick up four Garrett Elementary School students at their homes and bring them to school November 10 on one of its fire trucks.
Kindergartener Rohith Bandi, first grader Julia Reichardt and second graders Ashleigh Johnson-Jones and Rachel Lacy will receive this special ride because they are all winners of Robertson’s annual National Fire Prevention Week Poster Coloring Contest. Charlie Braband, a fire marshal with Robertson, said the fire district has sponsored the contest for about 10 years.
