Annual Veterans Day concert at Hazelwood Central High School is November 10

​The band department at Hazelwood Central High School is holding the 8th Annual Veterans Day Concert on November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Directed by Mark Thomas and Robert Altman, Jr., several bands and the HCHS concert choir will perform patriotic songs in recognition of veterans. American Legion Post 444 will open the program with a Call to Colors to post the American flag.

The Hazelwood Central Middle School Eighth-Grade Band will perform under the direction of Thomas Schwartz. The band will play "You're A Grand Old Flag" and "God Bless America."

Musical selections for the evening include "America, Of Thee I Sing," "Above the Clouds," "Samba Rumba Boogie," "Armed Forces Salute" and many others.

The concert is free and open to the community.
